Our institution was established in 1987 and It is the brainchild of our loving chairman, renowned industrialist and philanthropist Dr. R. N. Shetty.
The organisation provides technical education support, in particular, to young aspiring minds living in rural areas. Our college is affiliated to the Board of Technical Examinations, Government of Karnataka & approved by All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi.
Our polytechnic offers seven engineering diploma courses under the semester scheme.
1998 RNS PUC Murudeshwar
RNS PRE-UNIVERSITY COLLEGE, MURUDESHWAR was established in 1998 and it is managed by the Pvt. Unaided. It is located in Rural area. It is located in BHATKAL block of UTTARA KANNADA district of Karnataka. The school consists of Grades from 11 to 12. The school is Co-educational.
Located adjacent to the RNS Hospital Murudeshwar that stands majestically by the N.H.-66, and is centrally situated, the college proves to be a convenient place for the student’s arrival and departure.
2001 RNSIT
The RNS Institute of Technology, famously known as RNSIT. Our Institution was founded in the year 2001 by renowned industrialist and philanthropist Dr. R. N. Shetty. The college was founded exclusively to provide top-notch engineering, technology, and management education.
With its state-of-the-art facilities, well-equipped labs, hundreds of programs, several new initiatives, steady VTU rankings, ground-breaking placements, cultural activities, sport events, and more than 4,000 students and 300 faculty members, RNSIT has emerged as a top choice for students aspiring to be engineers across the nation.

2003 RNS Vidyaniketan, Murudeshwar & RNSIT MCA
RNS Vidyaniketan, Murudeshwar A school, which emphasises the all-round development of its students, will always set a benchmark in its field. We at RNS Vidyaniketan educate young minds, nurture their talents & hone their skills. Our school conducts various fun-frolic activities along with academics, namely educational trips, art exhibitions, clay art competitions and add-on activities including parents performance to again make them cherish their younger days, Scout & guides campfire activity etc.
RNSIT MCA Technology is being more and more integrated into our daily lives at a rapid rate. The program lasts for two years, divided into four semesters. The MCA program at RNSIT was established in 2003 with the goal of developing multidisciplinary UG graduates into exceptional professionals. This course is intended for students who want to investigate careers in the IT business or as a stepping stone to a Ph.D.

2007 RNS College of Nursing
The institution located on NH 66, and permission accorded by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi & karnataka State Nursing Council, Bangalore and the College Affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and recognised by Karnataka state nursing council Bangalore. Our College has a 100 bedded Hospital.
Our mission is to bring out the concern, passion, and empathy among graduating Nurses who are educated and trained at RNS Institute of Nursing Science.
We offer courses in BSc (N) – 4 years degree course GNM – 3 year diploma course.
